CONCERT CHOIR & CHAMBER SINGERS
"Angels & Lovers"

For this October 19 concert, the SRJC Concert Choir and Chamber Singers perform songs that inspire faith, hope, romance and joy. We hope to see you in Burbank Auditorium at 7:30 pm to hear the voices of our "Angels and Lovers."

In December, the choirs will perform with the Santa Rosa Symphony in Beethoven's famed Symphony No.9 "An die Freude" (Ode to Joy), conducted by Francesco Lecce-Chong. Join us in Weill Hall at the Green Music Center on December 3, 4 & 5!

“Fall Harvest”

The orchestra, conducted by Cynthia Weichel, will perform a variety of works by Elgar, Whitacre, Schubert, Verdi and featuring Saint-Saëns Danse Macabre and the lively Festive Overture by Shostakovich.

A formal recital of vocalists and instrumentalists in a variety of musical styles.

 

BENNETT FRIEDMAN JAZZ QUARTET

Tickets sold at the door, cash only
$15 general / $10 students and seniors

Guitarist Randy Vincent, bassist Peter Barshay, and drummer Kendrick Freeman will be featured.

The performance will feature works of Joe Henderson, Chick Corea, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others.

Proceeds from the concert benefit the SRJC Foundation Jazz Studies Fund.

Students of jazz performance will play jazz standards and unveil their creative works.

Also featuring works by Franz Lehár, Johann Strauß, Emmerich Kalman, Kander & Ebb, Kurt Weill, and others!

With special guest artist Kyle Craft, Violin.

A professional performer, event producer and music educator, Kyle Craft performs with numerous symphonies in the Bay Area. He is especially known for his popular “Afternoon in Vienna” show that sells out regularly whenever he schedules it.

This is a light-hearted concert aimed at bringing the joy and festivity of the season to people of all ages. Young children are encouraged to come, and the concert will include fun surprises for the audience.

Musical selections include Leroy Anderson's beloved Sleigh Ride, music from The Polar Express, March of the Toys, Winter Wonderland, Skater's Waltz, selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, and much more.
