Dr. Jerome Fleg has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and South America, and serves as Director of Instrumental Music at Santa Rosa Junior College, where he conducts the Symphonic and Jazz Bands. As a jazz saxophonist and clarinetist, he has appeared across the Bay Area and internationally with groups including Jazz Mirage, Le Hot Club Swing, the Faculty Combo of the Guatemala Jazz Festival, Cuvée Jazz, and the Joe Smiell Bavarian Fest Band. As a classical clarinetist, he has performed with the Colorado Symphony, Central City Opera, Wyoming Symphony, Boulder Chamber Orchestra, Mantovani Orchestra (tour), Antero Wind Quintet, Santa Rosa Symphony, and Symphony of the Redwoods. His conducting credits include the Youth Orchestra of the Rockies, Archipelago Music Festival, Guatemala Jazz Festival Big Band, and the upcoming Ukiah Symphony, and he previously served on the faculties of Casper College and the University of Wyoming.
